Tunisia-Kasserine: man attempts to set himself on fire in headquarters of Social Affairs department

In a statement given this Monday to Tunisie Numérique, the secretary general of the union of social experts Anouer Selmi disclosed that a citizen attempted to set himself on fire within the regional directorate of social affairs of Kasserine.

The latter, which clarifies our source, had come to seek answers concerning a file that he had presented and which had been presented to the regional committee.

“We notified him of the refusal for reasons linked to sales and purchases over the last three years, following the procedures in force and according to what is stipulated in government decree number 317” he indicated confirming that the employees present on the scene intervened quickly to control the fire and stop it from burning until the arrival of civil protection units and security forces.
