Tunisia-Kasserine:Dismantling of an illicit migration network to Spain

 

The Research and Inspection Division, in conjunction with the Land Borders Division of the National Guard in Feriana, in the governorate of Kasserine have succeeded in dismantling a network of 6 people specializing in smuggling people to Spain.

The smuggling is carried out via Algeria and Morocco against a certain amount paid by the migrants. Three of those arrested are from the governorate of Sidi Bouzid, another from the delegation of Hajeb El Ayoun in the governorate of Kairouan, and two others from the border area of ​​Bouchebka in the governorate of Kasserine.

The prosecution has authorized to keep them and to open an investigation into the case on charges of forming a banditry network and helping people illegally cross land borders or attempt to cross borders, while the search continues to find out the rest of those involved in this network.
