Tunisia-Khaled Dabbebi confirms the legitimacy of the “Bouden” government

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, professor of constitutional law Khaled Dabbebi said the current administration is legitimate and does not require parliamentary approval.

The professor stressed that the government of Najla Bouden derives its legality from Presidential Decree 117 since the divisions relating to executive and legislative power in the 2014 constitution have been suspended.

He moreover revealed that only administrative decisions related to the management of public service of general interest can be appealed to the administrative court. Nevertheless, ministerial decisions related to the theory of acts of government are not subject to administrative justice, he added.
