Tunisia-Lassad Yakoubi: We will find a solution with the new Minister of Education, but … (Declaration)

Secretary general of the General Federation of Secondary Education, Lassad Yakoubi, stated that the new Minister of Education is called upon to begin serious negotiations and put all files on the dialogue table.

In a statement made, this Tuesday, January 31, 2023 to Tunisie Numérique, Yakoubi clarified that it is required to fix education problems and make the requests of secondary and primary teachers.

He indicated that solutions will be found with the new minister, though that does not mean a change in the situation because the processing of the file is based on negotiations with the government, particularly regarding its negative options and its dependencies on the  International Monetary Fund.
