Tunisia-Libyan Presidential Council asserts complete support to President Kais Saied’s measures

President of the republic welcomed on Thursday Deputy Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Abdallah Al-Lafi at Carthage presidential palace

Al-Lafi asserted the Council’s full support to the decisions announced last Sunday by President Kais Saied, he said that the announcements of some Libyan parties on this subject do not commit the Libyan state. Al-Lafi reaffirmed the full solidarity of Libyans with the Tunisian people and their total support to the aspirations of Tunisians for growth and development.

 

On his part, the head of the state highlighted Tunisia’s permanent will to consolidate relationships of brotherhood and solidarity with Libya. He emphasised the firm determination to strengthen collaboration and coordination to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples to more complementarity and to face all tries to impair the security and stability of the two nations and their unity and sovereignty.
