The Tunisian Taxi Federation “Lounge” or Minibus declared its firm opposition to return working on Mya 26 and 27 which coincides with students and teachers return.
They consider that the decision of the Ministry of Transport and logistics regarding “the granting of authorization during the two days mentioned for the owners of Louage taxis to ensure the transport of students and the educational framework to be a misplaced decision.
The secretary-general of the Tunisian Taxi Union, Nagi Ben Soultan, said that the Taxi sector is most hit by the COVID-19 pandemic the state hasn’t taken any measures to assist them, He asked to be allowed to return to work and not only for two days.
