The Tunisian League for Human Rights condemned, in a press release, the imprisonment of journalist Zied El Heni and considered that the legal proceedings initiated against him represent a blatant violation of the law.
The League considered that the decision to issue an arrest warrant against Zied El Heni seeks to punish him for his positions towards power and senior officials.
The LTDH also voiced its solidarity with Zied El Heni and all the imprisoned journalists and called for an end to the legal proceedings against them.
