A season of Olives harvest will begin on November 1 in Mahdia with an estimated harvest of 44 thousand tonnes of olives. The olive oil harvest will amount to 8 thousand tonnes for the season (2022-2023) against 30 thousand tonnes for the last season.
Remark that the Mahdia governorate has 5.7 million olive trees cultivated over an area of nearly 160 thousand ha, including 2.25 million organic olive trees.
