Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Al Kamour coordination spokesperson Tarek Haddad commented in a statement to the announcement in which prime minister Hichem Mechichi’s government has succeeded in settling the agreements that all previous governments had failed to implement.
Regarding the main measures decided within the framework of this agreement, the spokesperson of the coordination said that they are presumed to be published in the Official Gazette of the Tunisian Republic (JORT) a week after the reopening of the valve.
Among the main decisions included in this agreement, Haddad cited:
- The annual budget of TD 80 million, which will be allocated to the region.
- Recruitment will be launched from next week which will interest 1000 people who will integrate the company of the environment and plantations, with the quotation of this company in the ministry for agriculture.
- 215 immediate recruitments in oil companies in the Tataouine desert.
- Funding for 1,000 projects before the end of 2020.
- The creation of five regional companies for plaster, accommodation, general works, oil and energy services, transport of people and products, and agricultural reform in Tataouine. This will be done before the end of 2020, with funding from the Italian petroleum company.
- 18 million TD within the framework of the social responsibility of oil companies.
- 100 credits for the financing of projects worth 2.2 million TD.
- One million and 200 thousand TD for development associations.
- 2.6 million TD for the municipalities of the region.
- One million and 200 thousand TD for the Tataouine sports team.
