The floating units of the central district of the Maritime Guard were able to foil 21 illegal migration attempts and save 538 migrants, including 4 Tunisians and the rest of the nationalities from sub-Saharan Africa. A body was also retrieved.
Similarly, units of the National Guard district in Sfax were able to arrest 10 wanted individuals, including organizers of illegal migration and intermediaries, and seize 08 iron boats, 13 marine engines and a quantity of fuel. The required legal measures have been taken.
