Tunisia-Marzouki predicts a “Sudanese scenario”

Former President of the Republic of Tunisia, Moncef Marzouki, called on Tunisians to prepare for “after Kais Saied” or to anticipate a “Sudanese scenario” which would mean a seizure of power by the army.

In an interview with “Al-Quds Al-Arabi Marzouki assessed that “The question is to know-how will be the post-Saied stage…The best scenario is the legitimate one, which I have called for several times, that is to say, the return of parliament and the renunciation of Rached Ghannouchi as president of the parliament because he is not accepted by the Tunisians (…) His vice-president, Samira Chaouachi will succeed him,” he said.
