Tunisia-Medenine-Acute Bronchiolitis in Infants: The number of infections is 65

In a statement to a private radio station, the director of preventive health at the regional health directorate of Medenine Zid El Anz cautioned against the considerable rise in the number of contaminations by acute bronchiolitis in children.

Remarking that the number of contaminations has increased from 48 to 65, El Anz that infants have been admitted to emergency departments or pediatric departments as follows:

  • 16 cases at Habib Bourguiba University Hospital in Medenine
  • 21 cases at the Sadok Mekaddem regional hospital in Djerba
  • 17 cases at the Ben Guerdane regional hospital
  •  11 cases at the Zarzis regional hospital
He also affirmed that the state of health of infants is stable.
