Moncef Bougarba, director of the Regional Authority for Food Safety, told Tunisie Numérique correspondent in the region that economic control operations were conducted on the occasion of the New Year, in coordination with security units.
He revealed that 87 inspection visits were carried out throughout the governorate during which several products were seized including 47 kg of chicken meat and cakes.
23 offences were also recorded.
