The governorate of Medenine reported two losses and 19 new infections as well as 6 recoveries, a source from the regional health directorate stated on Wednesday.
The same source added that both deaths relate to an 85-year-old man who has heart device before his health deteriorated after contracting the virus. The second death is a woman born in 1927 who passed in the isolation room of Covid-19 at the regional hospital of Houmt Souk, Djerba, bringing the death tally to 21 since last March.
