National Alcohol Agency General director Mehdi Mbarek asserted that the current shortage of Alcohol is due to the current increase demand which rose to 50% in comparison to last year, as well as the decline in world production.
The agency has made its alcohol stock available for the health ministry and laboratories of pharmaceutical manufacturers , he said.
Mbarek said that a litre of alcohol is sold at 3 dinars and that the country’s alcohol supply is sufficient until next July.
