Tunisia-Sigma Conseil director discloses reasons of Abdelatif Mekki rise in popularity

The political barometer of Sigma Conseil delivered many surprises. There was a sudden explosion in the popularity of Health Minister Health, Abdelatif Mekki. The latter, in fact, gained 37 points, earning the trust 51% of Tunisians.

Sigma Conseil director Hassen Zarougni attributed this result to the trust placed by Tunisians behind those who are fighting against the coronavirus pandemic.

Mekki Handling with the pandemic made Tunisians overlook his political ideology, he said in a statement to Shems FM.

He further affirmed that Tunisians are trusting the methodology adopted by the government in dealing with the coronavirus portfolio.
