Tunisia – Migration: What is rich Cameroonian doing on farm in Sfax? And how did she enter the country?

Spokesperson for the general directorate of the National Guard, Houssem Eddine Jebabli, confirmed in a statement to the national channel that the Sfax prosecutor’s office authorized the arrest of the migrant from sub-Saharan Africa, Clara Foy, for 48 hours.

Jebabli explained that the so-called “Clara Foy” lived in one of the Arab countries and in complete comfort before rumours circulated about her presence in one of the agricultural estates in the Sfax region, highlighting that in coordination with the competent structures, no trace of her entry into Tunisian territory has been registered, whether by land or air.

Jebabli added that security units intervened in the case, apprehended her and referred her for investigation to the Fifth Central Division of the National Guard to uncover the networks and reasons behind her presence in Tunisia.
