Tunisia-Minister of Commerce: The rise in inflation and prices in Tunisia is acceptable

Minister of Trade and Export Development, Fadhila Rebhi stated that “the increase in the inflation rate and prices in Tunisia is acceptable compared to other countries”.

She said that the inflation rate in Tunisia is “lower than other regions around the globe, such as Europe where the inflation rate has surpassed the 10% ”, specifying that Tunisia imports all its necessities from abroad, which clarifies the increase in the rate of import inflation.

“The crisis is global and the only way out is to work hard, support export, create wealth and put pressure on the cost”;she adds.
