Tunisia-Minister of health: Elevator was in use and broke down at night

Speaking at a plenary session to examine the health ministry budget, health minister Faouzi Mahdi commented on the death of doctor  Badreddine Aloui, an internal doctor who died following his fatal fall in the cage of an elevator at the Jendouba regional hospital.

Mr Mahdi stated that the elevator was in use and broke down the night before the accident. He further stressed there is an administrative and criminal probe underway, responsibilities will be determined and required measures and decisions will be taken.
