The Minister of National Defence Imed Hazgui received General Thierry Burkhard, Chief of Staff of the French Army and the French ambassador in Tunis Olivier Poivre d’Arvor.
The meeting addressed Ways to reinforce and expand co-operation between the Tunisian and French armies.Imed Hazgui emphasised the significance of the co-operative relationships between the two parties in the military field and the necessity to expand them in terms of anticipation and prevention of unconventional threats.
The Minister also highlighted the urgency to step up collective actions in the areas of training, intelligence and sharing of expertise.
