Tunisia-Ministerial Conference of Francophonie: Tunisia calls for an end to all forms of violence

Tunisia, which chairs the 44th session of the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie, held on November 4 and 5 in Yaoundé (Cameroon), suggested including a point in the text of the Final Yaoundé Declaration.

This point, which was adopted unanimously, calls for an end to all forms of violence against civilian populations and the protection of human lives.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, delivered, on this occasion, an address in which he discussed the most important results of the Francophonie Summit in Djerba (November 2022), in particular the Djerba Declaration and the adoption of the strategic framework of La Francophonie 2023-2030, as well as the motion connected to the promotion of peace and the prevention of crises in the French-speaking space, reports tap.
