Tunisia-Ministerial council condemns “smear campaign” against Government and its Prime minster

Minister of Women, Family, Child and Elderly Affairs and Government spokesperson Asma Shiri affirmed that the Ministerial council addressed during its meeting political inducements which could disturb governmental work.

She explained that the council stressed the need for government soldiery to subdue all problems and proceed to direct attention on work and care for the concerns of Tunisians and to begin fulfilling social benefits and an economic rescue plan.

She added that the Council likewise appraised the significance of the decision announced by the Prime Minister to establish a committee to follow up on the implementation of public and private projects.

In the same context, it denounced smear campaigns targeting the government and its prime minister recently, it further expressed its commitment to purifying the political and social environment and upholding the principles of transparency and the supremacy of the law.
