Tunisia-Ministry of Education threatens to withdraw licenses over private lessons

The Ministry of Education reported breaches of the requirements of the general lockdown by private educational institutions to provide private lessons by arranging remedial lessons in flagrant violation of the government decree number 156.

In an issued statement, the ministry urged parents to refrain from calls that violate the law in order to protect the safety of their children, given the threat these public health and safety pose to these abuses.

Moreover, it called upon parents and owners of private educational institutions that are giving illegal private lessons to adhere to the imposed lockdown as they warned that they will impose administrative penalties either by withdrawing licenses or stopping the activity or terminating it entirely.
