Tunisia-Ministry of Health updates conditions for entry to Tunisia

The health ministry announced in a press release that all travellers to Tunisia must submit a negative PCR test carried out within 72 hours of check-in. People who have finished their vaccination 14 days before boarding (supporting documents) and children under 12 are exempt from this step.

All travellers are further asked to complete the form on the site https://app.e7mi.tn In addition, obligatory Quarantine will be forced on people who have not been vaccinated and those who have only received a single. Those concerned must give the reservation confirmation document (voucher) at check-in.

Passengers pay the costs of their transportation and their stay in isolation centres. They must conduct PCR tests one day after the end of their self-isolation and any person who tests positive will be placed in a centre reserved for contaminated people.

These passengers are exempt from Quarantine :
  • Those who have finished their vaccination, 14 days before boarding.
  • Passengers who come on board charter flights or programmed flights, as part of organized trips, given they are subject to the health protocol put in place by the Ministry of Tourism.
  • Unaccompanied minors or those who accompany vaccinated people, provided they comply with preventive measures.
  • The health ministry emphasised that rapid screening tests will be carried out on passengers, selected at random, upon their arrival. If the test is positive, the affected person will be transported to a medical isolation centre.

It should also be remarked that passengers who come for therapeutic reasons must have prior permission from the Tunisian Ministry of Health.
