Tunisia-Ministry of Industry: Electricity restored to 99% after widespread outage

The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines revealed that electricity has been restored to 99% of the country after a widespread blackout.

It pointed out that the technical teams of the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG) moved to the Radès power station to restore electricity in all regions of the country.

“No explosion happened either in the network or in the Steg districts,” specifies the ministry.
