Tunisia- Ministry of Religious Affairs: Strategy to combat terrorism and illegal immigration

The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced that during the participation of the Chief of Staff of Minister Habib Jeridi in the International Conference on Extremism, Terrorism and Irregular Migration at the headquarters of the Arab States Broadcasting Union, the latter discussed the ministry strategy to combat terrorism and illegal immigration.
Mr Habib Jeridi revealed that the ministry is making efforts to organize dialogue sessions with the youth and correct misunderstandings concerning religion, particularly with regard to human rights and in particular the rights of women
The purpose is to identify the factors leading to extremism and the integration of terrorist groups and to immunize the family against disintegration and deviation.
The official stressed the significance of the role of “Kotteb” schools for early childhood in achieving the above goals.
