Tunisia-Ministry of the Interior is taking a number of measures to fight Coronavirus

The Ministry of the Interior has taken a number of steps to combat the spread of the Coronavirus in Tunisia, according to the decisions taken during the Ministerial Council held on January 11, 2022, at the Government Palace in the Kasbah. The measurements are as follows:
  • Border control at land, sea and air crossing points to execute compliance with the health protocol.
  • Call on heads of units to strengthen the security presence and open supplementary corridors to guarantee the fluidity of passenger traffic. V
  • verification of the authenticity of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine passport, in coordination with the health offices at the border posts.
  • The launch of the establishment of special control teams by the governors to implement the prevention measures of the Coronavirus.
  • The establishment of a technical commission within the Ministry of the Interior made up of officials from different departments concerned with the fight against the Coronavirus, to present recommendations in order to prevent the contamination of employees.
  • The assurance of respect for the application of the curfew by citizens.
