Tunisia-Mohamed Hamdi: We will combat to fight against Kais Saied’s project

In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Democratic Current and former Minister of Education Mohamed Hamdi revealed that the protesters were stopped from holding their demonstration. Hamdi added that it was decided, following this, to organize a press conference to reject the President of the Republic Kais Saied concerning respect for rights and freedoms.
“We will fight to fight against Kais Saied’s political project and the authoritarian regime with all potential peaceful means,” he said. As for the negotiations with the UGTT, Mohamed Hamdi said the Democratic Current has dealt with the central labour union given its role in the nation as a social ally and an important political force.
