Chairman of the Economic and Financial Affairs Commission Monir Frege stressed that Ten members of the municipal council of Bennane Bodheur have collectively submitted their resignation to Monastir governor on Thursday.
In the letter of resignation, they emphasised the difficulty of continuing work in the council considering due “the obstinacy of the mayor and his monopoly on decisions, non-compliance with the rules of work and suspicions of corruption as well as misuse of public utility.
