Tunisia-Monastir: 26 civil protection agents tested positive for COVID-19

The number of civil protection agents infected by Covid-19, in Monastir, has risen to 26 people, according to the latest report, the secretary-general of the Regional Union of National Security Forces of Monastir, Mourad Ben Salah told the TAP Agency.

The Regional Union of National Security Forces of Monastir continues to disinfect the premises of civil protection in the region, in addition to the distribution of bibs, he said.

And to add that these actions were taken, because the supervisory authority did not provide the protective equipment to the officers. The governorate of Monastir recorded until September 19, 2020, 854 confirmed cases including 96 cases of recovery, according to the report of the regional health directorate of Monastir.
