The governor of Manouba, Mohamed Cheikh Rouhou ordered Saturday the closure of an industrial unit in the Mornaguia delegation due to the contamination of one of its employees from Marsa by the coronavirus.
It was also decided to carry out COVID 19 tests to all employees of this industrial unit, which numbered 17 and to place them in self-containment, according to the governor’s statements to the TAP.
The governor of Manouba said the factory will be closed temporarily until the test results are obtained, adding that the decision to reopen it will be made based on the test results and the health of the employees.
It should be noted that 159 cases of contamination were recorded in the governorate of Manouba which are divided between 153 affected people who are currently in self-containment, 2 cases in compulsory confinement in Monastir and 4 cases of hospitalization in the capital and Sousse.
