The governorate of Monastir recorded 54 new infections with COVID-19, bringing the infection tally to 3821, local health director Hammouda El Babba announced.
The same source added that recovery toll rose to 2744 after documenting 56 recoveries, meanwhile 966 are still carrying the virus.
Also,85 people are hospitalized under medical monitoring, he affirmed.
