The investigating judge at the Manouba court of first instance issued an arrest warrant against a young man accused of stabbing to death a thirty-year-old married father of a family in the locality of Sidi Ali El Hattab to Mornaguia, without there being any disputes between them.
According to available data, the incident happened at the end of last week, when the accused, a young man in his twenties, consumed a certain amount of alcohol and disputed with one of his acquaintances in the Sidi Ali El Hattab region. The argument quickly turned into an exchange of violence, so much so that the attacked man quickly took refuge in the family house, while the accused fell into a state of hysteria and went to get a dagger, while menacing passers-by, the victim happened to pass by there, not far from his home. The accused intentionally stabbed him, so he fell to the ground tried to get up and staggered for tens of meters before taking his last breath.
According to the same data, once charged with the necessary research, and despite the accused’s attempt to run towards the centre of the capital, the agents of the Research and Inspection Division of the National Guard in Tebourba succeeded, After a few hours, locating him, and managed to apprehend him, they were also able to find the murder weapon.
