Tunisia-Nabeul: Doctors forced to accommodate Covid-19 patients in offices

The Head of the Emergency Department at Taher Maamouri Regional Hospital (Nabeul Governorate) Saloua Mansouri today issued a cry of distress. The doctor affirmed that the hospital has reached its highest capacity (over 100%).

She stated physicians are now obliged to accommodate Covid-19 patients in on-call rooms and even in offices, given the frightening lack of space.

Out of 10 of the patients who take the screening test 9 are positive for the coronavirus, she told Radio Med, considering that this wave is even worse than any that preceded it.
