Faced with hardships in marketing their products, potato producers in Korba voiced their fed up this Tuesday, in a statement given to Tunisie Numérique correspondent in the region.
They explained that they were suffering grave losses due to the high cost of production and the increase in their debts to suppliers, facing a decline in sales prices ranging between 500 and 700 millimes per kilogram.
Mohamed Ben Hassine, one of the potato producers, assured that the flooding of the market by foreign products was harming the interests of professionals in the sector.
