Heart of Tunisia president Nabil Karoui announced a full-scale national initiative following the downfall of Prime minster Habib Jemli cabinet.
The initiative will witness the participation of Heart of Tunisia, Tahya Tounes, Echaab movement, national reform and Mustaqbal coalition in one united parliamentary bloc. Karoui stated they will seek to propose the initiative to other parties , indicating that they will discuss with the head of state following the constitution.
Tunisia’s parliament rejected the government put together by Prime Minister Habib Jemli, a move that could delay efforts to implement reforms in the North African nation.
