Speaking to a private radio station, the president of the Tunisian Pharmacists Union Naoufel Amira declared that the National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM) has become a threat to the health system.
He affirmed that the sectoral agreement concluded between national funds and private pharmacies will terminate in December 2021, and it is plausible that this agreement will not be renewed.
He added that the extended deadlines for debt repayment have contributed to the degeneration of relationships between health providers and the CNAM.
