Nabiha Kammoun, president of the national chamber of kindergartens and nurseries, reported that professionals in the sector declined to apply the new specifications connecting to the creation of kindergartens. Kammoun again slammed and condemned the new decrees cited in this notebook, confirming that they harm children as well as establishments in the said sector.
She recollected that the Ministry of Family, Women and the Trade Union Chamber had carried several working sessions on this subject throughout the last three years.
It is recognised that, the Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly, published, in the last issue of the Official Journal of the Republic of Tunisia dated January 24, 2022, an order ratifying the notebook of expenses for the creation of kindergartens.
This decree revokes and replaces that of March 28, 2003 and in accordance with this decision, all practising kindergartens and nurseries must comply with the new provisions within a period not surpassing one year from its entry into force.
