Minister of National Defense Imed Hazgui received Italian ambassador in Tunis Lorenzo Fanara.
The meeting is part of the monitoring of military collaboration between the two countries.
On this occurrence, the Minister commended the assistance given by Italy to Tunisia in diverse sectors, prominently in the military area.
In this respect, he mentioned Italy’s contribution to the establishment of the professional training centre for scuba diving and underwater activities in Zarzis.
For his part, Lorenzo Fanara revealed satisfaction with the military cooperation between the two countries, displaying his country’s willingness to support Tunisia’s efforts to improve the army’s capacities and support its role in sustainable development.
