Tunisia-National organizations declare Tataouine a disaster area

The three national organizations, the UGTT, the Union of Farmers and the UTICA, classified Thursday, July 22, the governorate of Tatouine, a disaster area due to the rapid spread of COVID-19.

In a press release, they called on the authorities to enforce general lockdown in order to protect the lives of citizens. The three national organizations requested companies established in the region to assume their responsibility and assist the region to surmount this crisis. They additionally called on private and public doctors to help their colleagues at the Tataouine regional hospital.
