The National Salvation Front issued a press release on Saturday evening to denounce the house arrest of Ennahdha Shura president Abdelkarim Harouni. The fact pointed out that this summons comes just a few hours, before the Shura meeting, to discuss the question of holding the next Ennahdha congress.
The front accuses the State of harassing the leadership of Ennahdha after the detention of its leaders and the closure of its premises, as well as intimidation of its members.
The front finds that this is a further step in the targeting of democracy and interference in the inner life of political parties.
