In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, today, Thursday, January 25, 2024, spokesman for the National Observatory for Traffic Safety Mourad Jouini said that statistics have shown a reduction in the number of traffic accidents, casualties and injuries, as a result of a series of awareness-raising campaigns conducted by various state structures.
Juwaini pointed out that the speeding violation is the one that causes the largest number of road accident victims in Tunisia, noting that work and coordination are taking place with the private sector to make more efforts to support traffic safety and accomplish positive results.
The same source also added that work will continue to organize monthly campaigns in coordination with the structures of the Ministry of Interior and various concerned parties, to work to lower the victims of road accidents.
