Tunisia-National vaccination day: SMS invitations sent from 5 p.m.

The Director-General of Health and coordinator of intensive vaccination operations, Fayçel Ben Salah, declared on Friday that the Ministry of Health will begin sending text messages, from 5 p.m., to convene the age groups involved by the third day of intensive vaccination, programmed for Sunday 29 August.

Speaking to the TAP, Ben Salah said that approximately 400 centres will open in various parts of the country from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. He pointed out that two teams have been assigned to vaccinate each age group: one team will take care of children aged 15 to 17 who will receive the Pfizer vaccine, and another team for those 40 and over, who will receive AstraZeneca.
