Tunisia-Neji Jalloul calls for the appointment of military at the head of certain ministries

Former minister of education and leader of the National Coalition party Nèji Jalloul stated that, in order to be able to combat corruption efficiently, certain ministries should be lead by the military.

In a Facebook post,  Jalloul pointed out that the ministries concerned are the following: the Ministry of State Domains and Land Affairs, the Minister of Agriculture, Hydraulic Resources and Maritime Fisheries and the Ministry of Equipment, Housing and territory planning.

The politician asserted that adopting such a measure would also assist to combat the phenomenon of school dropout and encourage unemployed young people to take vocational training in military professions.

An opinion acknowledged by some Internet users but heavily contested by others who have seen undemocratic measures, likely to sign the end of the civil state.
