Tunisie Numérique’s correspondent in the governorate of Sfax confirmed that new decisions will be taken in the following hours, particularly the appointment of a new governor and a new Regional Director for the National Agency for the Management of Waste, after the decision to provisionally open the Agareb landfill.
Our correspondent said that a high-level security delegation is currently in Sfax and will go from midnight to examine the start of the waste transferal process from the Thyna and Sidi Mansour waste treatment centres to El Genna landfill at Agareb.
Our correspondent indicated that the trucks of the municipality of the region have begun to transport waste to the aforementioned waste reception centres.
