Tunisia-New general strike declared in Chebba

A new general strike was announced this Friday, November 27, 2020, in Chebba.

The strike involved the Public sector establishments, administrations, schools and bank headquarters in the city which shut their doors in solidarity with the local football team, CS Chebba, whose movements had been suspended by the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF).

This strike was started by the club supporters who called on the government to intervene to reinstall their team in the premier league a few weeks before the commencement of the new season, particularly since the crisis has not been resolved for more a month.
