Tunisia-New military hospital of Sfax opens its doors

From this Monday, January 4, 2021, the new military hospital in Sfax will unlock its doors and start to accept people infected with the Coronavirus.

First, the hospital will have a limit of 10 intensive care beds and 52 oxygen beds, which will afterwards be extended to 20 intensive care beds and 156 oxygen beds.

Built thanks to a Chinese donation, the new University Hospital Center (CHU) of Sfax, which cost approximately 200 million dinars, was inaugurated on December 10, 2020, by the President of the Republic, Kais Saied.
