Tunisia-New swimming record for Nejib Belhedi

Record-breaking marathon swimmer Nejib Belhedi continues to amaze. At 68, he attempted and won a new major challenge and broke an unrivalled record by swimming around the island of Djerba.

This Sunday, November 1, 2020, Nejib Belhedi swam a distance of 155 km, non-stop in 47 hours and 50 minutes, thus achieving the most sustainable solo swimming record time.

Nejib Belhedi  Last August, won another major challenge by swimming the Kuriat Islands in Sousse (Boujaafar Beach), a distance of about 40 km that he covered non-stop in almost 11 hours.

A feat that ties in with his many other challenges, such as crossing the Channel between France and England.
