Tunisia- Nissaf Ben Alaya : Degree of risk of COVID-19 Transmission from abroad is high

Director of the National Observatory for New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya stressed the degree risk of COVID-19 from aborad is high amid the spike in registered daily infections which vary between 10 to 20.

In a statement to the TAP, she asserted that the epidemiological situation requires citizens to proceed in adopting preventive measures against COVID-19.

She further urged to adhere to self-isolation for Tunissn returnees,adding that a press conference will take place at a later stage to announce new procedures to impose Quarantine by the government before the reopening of borders.

Dr Alya also expressed concern on Violation committed by several Citizens in applying preventive measures.
