Speaking to Jawhara FM, director of the National Observatory for New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya said Monday, August 17, 2020, affirmed that the epidemiological situation is critical with the increase of local cases in several regions of the country.
She reiterated the need to respect barrier gestures and preventive measures, at the same time calling on all sectors to rigorously apply health protocols.
In addition, she called on municipalities and local authorities to step up disinfection campaigns in places visited by people infected with the virus.
In addition to these measures, Nissaf Ben Alaya called for accelerating the promulgation of a law relating to the compulsory wearing of masks in public places and closed places.
